Modeled after the lower extremity of a femur bone, duplicated on both sides bent into a loop, with plastic support splints. Through humor, I have tried to deal with an injury, which ended up on the operating table. The title of the series refers to the humerus bone, also called the funny bone.

Formally, it may resemble parts of an aggressive machinery, or a rib cage fastened with flaccid french screws.

My work comes from a strip of text, a queer shape or a material that has latched itself unto my consciousness. I may not know what it means or what it can do, but i try to work with it and see where it leads me, or what it wants to tell me. A way of explaining can be an almost alchemiclike method, where every element stores the potential of “gold”.
